EXPOSED!!: Here Are Reason Why Your Scale Number Won't Always Show Weight Loss?

How do you know if your weighing scale is accurate if it changes everyday - it either goes up or goes down?

Scales are use to track weight loss and doesn't measure water loss, body mass and so on. It's possible to loss weight without actually seeing a change in your scale. This happens if you are gaining muscle while losing body fat not weight, as muscle does not weigh more than fat - but it does takes up less space.

Another reason scale weight isn't so reliable is that it changes all the time. Some scales are just shitty. It tells you are losing certain weight (showing different scale number) just by stepping off and stepping back on. However, it's more than likely your weight as it changes throughout the day and not the scale. Your body will weigh different weights throughout the week. Try to stick to the same time and if possible once a week. Obsession is a bad thing.

As mentioned, don't weigh yourself often as you may get discouraged with the results. You could just weigh yourself once or twice a month. You can also use waist measuring tape to determine if what you're doing is working. Take a selfie each time you weigh yourself and compare the results with the previous weigh in.

If you still think your weighing scale is inaccurate, you could calibrate it. We use an old kettle bell to make sure it was weighing right - so you should give that a try.
