Looking for detox? You found that your liver is overwhelmed and you most times have more pain and bloating?

Yes, it is the livers job to be the filter to your blood as you have always heard. But if it doesn't move out of the liver one can get bloated and won't sleep well. However, detoxing isn't a thing. Detox is not necessary, it is our livers job. Your liver works great for detoxing. That's what your liver is for. The possible reason one might need to detox is if he/she gets too lockup in unhealthy diet practices.

Stop eating overly processed food and drink water. You'll be wasting your money if you buy anything. Change your lifestyle to a predominantly whole foods diet. No amount of fad teas, gummies, shakes or schemes can beat a good natural diet as nature intended us to be.

You shouldn't be much into processed foods. Make your meals generally homemade. Lean meat, vegetables, and fruits. You could however eat a "lean cuisine" maybe 2-3 times a week. Start with hydration, eat whole foods, and do daily walks. Your body is a natural detoxification machine. You don't need do a "detox". Just eat clean and drink water. Eat mostly eggs and avocados. Every morning drink 10oz water with 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Drink it again mid-day.

Start the day with 5 cups of water and finish it with 2 cups before bed. As discussed earlier, take out the processed foods and include vegetables with every meals, water and fibre (preferable in the form of vegetables - cooked or raw) and stay active.

The good news is - even as our liver is a natural detoxifier, there are things that can help it along such as movement, water, coconut water, kombucha, black tea and fibrous whole foods. Sometimes a good old chicken broth soup with cabbage is helpful as well.

Up the amount of live things you eat by 20℅ from where you are currently and you will feel some effect for sure. If that doesn't do it, up it again by 20% in two weeks. This way you don't crush and cut out everything, but you will go down pretty quick just by switching, however you currently eat to even healthier. Green smoothies, hot green tea and lemon after meals help with bloating. Probiotics also helps too.

There are lots of claims on natural detox which requires pills or drinks. However, I would recommend you pick a solution that focus on whole fruits and veggies. Not chemicals and shin an gens. Or you could do a metabolism reset every month; or maybe a gut reset three days.

My go to plan at the beginning of these days always is four (4) simple realistic things that always help me get back on track and in a good routine. They are:-

1. Drink a lot of water. 80-100oz hydrate the body. If you like you may add lemon, but water is needed.

2. Just focus on eating whole foods, don't make it super complex meat veggies.

3. Just move; whatever your preferred exercise is, just make it intentional that you won't miss a day that week.

4. Take time to sleep. I know it can be hard but be diligent with trying to get to bed a little earlier and get a proper nights sleep. It'll help you wake up feeling motivated, energized, and ready to attack 1-3.

You can ask about everything for these tips:-

-eat more whole and fibre foods

-drink the recommended amount of water (don't ever over drink)

-take a walk after a usual meal.
