Exercise Headaches: Why You May Get A Headache Hours After Working Out

Most people feel headache when done with workouts. It gets so much that it becomes unbearable. So, is it normal? What may be the cause of this headache, and is there any possible solutions?

Well, the fact most likely is you could be new to the gym life. Giving yourself time, your body may adapt to the new way. Other cause maybe extreme training. You should avoid overworking your body. Heavy weights doesn't necessarily mean that you get great muscles. It is all in the training mechanism. It could be when finishing running a long kilometers or after simple push-ups, which ever way, take it one step at a time.

If the problem persists, that could sounds like high blood pressure. Also dehydration is a great possibility. It is easy to deal with that if it's dehydration. Drinking much of water while you are training. Get the water down your neck incase you are straining your neck. Take much water like, 3 litres per day.

Always remember to HYDRATE!!!!! Keep hydrated and take rest between sets. And pay attention on your breathing during workout and after. Also, you should consider drinking water before bed. Because the body slows down at night make sure you drink at least 8oz of water prior to bed. This allows the water to soak in, however may cause you to urinate at night. When you wake - drink again also drink WATER throughout the day. Drink more water and get some blood tonic as well, that's where you start.

Speaking of blood tonic, just to rule anything out go see doctor and check blood pressure. It is not normal to feel a headache after a workouts. You only must feel fatigue and body pain. Go check your blood pressure. However, it could also be that you have an underlying medical issues. Not to freak you out but I have heard of people who use to get that and then one day had a seizure. Come to find out they had a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. They had surgery to get it removed. So, I would definitely recommend seeing a doctor. At least you know for sure what you are facing.

When feeling a headache rest and sleep. Drink water and eat something before workouts. You could get quite a bit of that (headache and blurry vision) when first started working out but not to worry it usually stopped after about a month, its probably a combination of dehydration and your body getting adjusted to your new routine.

Another cause of headaches after workouts could be from the products you are currently taking for workouts like pre-workout, protein powders, energy drink, free workout drinks. Sometimes, it is advisable to avoid these products and just take water. It is okay to take whey protein isolate powder. It's good for muscle building.. and also eat chicken eggs and vegetables fruits milk.
