Most people made the mistake of thinking that medical attention was a right, guaranteed them by a benevolent government, health institution or employer, at little or no cost? In advance countries of company health insurance and HMO's, people consume medical services/medications without knowing or caring how much they really cost or affect them. It doesn't matter to them as long as "someone else" is paying for it.
Medical attention is loudly trumpeted as a "right". But every right includes a responsibility. If you have the right to medical attention or proper healthcare services, this means someone else has the responsibility of providing it to you. Someone has to take blame when things go wrong. Here's what I can't stand about the "healthcare industry". It preys on people's fears and tell them that if they only spend enough material money on healthcare services, supplements, oils, insurance, juices, and diets, that every disease is preventable. It sells them the illusion of control, and no one is accountable when things go wrong.
Why is it that many pharmaceutical companies sells trash to we innocent consumers? - Because people want it too!!!
I found it curious that the manufacturers of drugs themselves indicated that the very drug that they have sold to you is "NOT INTENDED" to do ANYTHING!!! such as diagnosis, prevent or cure. By this admission, there would be no need for drug agencies to even carry out and validation at all. Most people never take their time to read these healthcare service providers terms, policies and conditions, thus, leading to negligence on their part.
No one assuming a "right" to food, clothing, shelter, or transportation, even through these are basic necessities of life. These factors have to be earned and paid for according to your capacity. We say "medicine is suppose to be free". However, you know that nothing is really free. Everything has to be paid by someone, somehow. The Covid-19 pandemic has really shown us that no country actually has the best medical system in the world. In some countries, to stop runaway costs from bankrupting the government and control the pandemic, medical care is carefully rationed. Hospitals patient have seriously increase, resulting in limited medical infrastructures. If you are over 40, it becomes harder and harder to get treatment's. The waiting lists are endless. It was even discovered recently, that the high number of casualty/death from Covid-19 virus was due to underlying illnesses many had neglected or fail to pay attention to, themselves.
The best solution to the so-called "healthcare crisis" would be to create a platform that provides incredibly wide range of choices and options for healthcare, where individuals have the opportunity to take responsibility for their own health. Also, the government should look into healthcare insurance, by providing private health accounts where people pay for their own healthcare and insurance, with extra benefits from the government. According to careful analysis, only about 3 percent of people without health insurance in America are in that situation involuntarily. Most people without health insurance have decided to gamble that they won't be sick or injured. They choose instead to spend the money on unhealthy lifestyle or other things unimportant.
The inescapable fact is each person is responsible for his or her own level of fitness, weight, and health. There is no something for nothing in health and longevity. Everything must be paid for by someone, through money or handwork. Nothing is ultimately free.
