Is Carbohydrate Intolerance A Thing

Yes it is. We are in the 21th century, anything can be a thing now. First question you need to ask yourself....

What symptoms are you having with carbs?

Some people will find they bloat or swell with simple carbs as well as having abdominal pains. Symptoms are very similar to Celiac's. However, if you are experiencing these symptoms, you very well could be gluten intolerant either than "carb" intolerant. Most people feel super light headed almost like on a sugar rush every time they eat wheat foods. Some certain types of carbs will still make feel sick even if its gluten free. This mostly happens with processed carbs. You feel bloated and lethargic. It doesn't happen with fruits and vegetables, just processed carbs. As long as you stay away from everything in a box, I guess you are free.

A lot of people have complained about experiencing a reaction to wheat. It might not be allergic to gluten or celiac disease, but it might have to do with when they ingest to many wheat carbs. It is best to replace them all with fruits and vegetables. Some dieticians would advise that you cut either wheat or diary out of your diet to see what would happen. You can chose wheat first. Also, I have found that it is best you eat wheat a day or maybe two a week, or if you keep experiencing the intolerance, it is best you cut it completely.

Recent studies have linked carbs intolerance to diabetes, I believe it's called Type l Diabetes. However, investigations are still going on on this report. So, it is recommended you talk to your physician if you keep experiencing loss of energy, abdominal pain, swelling, headaches, vomiting or bloating. You can cut out gluten after researching your blood work after 2 weeks, because most tests don't always give accurate results. You might have several tests done for various foods to test for intolerance and still have everything comes back negative. You only knows what certain foods does to your body. Certain types of carbs can make you bloated, super gassy, feel bad and if you eat enough of them, you may get incredible bad muscle spasms/cramps in your legs, abdomen, hand e.t.c.

Carbs in general can give one gas, you won't realize how bad you feel with carbs until you quit eating them. There are different replacement for carbs. You can do cyclical keto. If you have Type l Diabetes, carb are your enemy. Most people don't do well with gluten or process foods.

In conclusion, carbs intolerance is real. It is best advise you see a professional physician, he/she can recommended the best diet to you.
