Backaches And Pimples On TRT: Is it Gonna Go Away Or Do You Need To Adjust ?

TRT comes with it some side effects or allergies. Some people experienced acne, bloating, redness or swollen face. It might be difficult to control these reactions even with medications, creams and so on.

What do you think is the cause? Any solutions or just ride it out ? Should you consider adjust/lowering your dosage ? Avoid certain foods maybe ?

First things first, you need to go for an appointment with your doctor. You need to get your blood-work done to see where your T levels at, if it is normal.

For some, It’s normal. They just deal with it. If you ever experienced acne, then it could be from the TRT. This occur mostly with people using it for the first time. However, it gets better and better with time. It gets little bit better in summer.  Some people after being on TRT for a longtime it naturally goes away. In some cases, people predisposed to acne often have hormonal imbalances and TRT can actually clear up acne break outs for some.

Scrubs helps, but they aren't necessary the reasons you have acne. They can help to fight the side effects. Typically, acne on TRT are signs of a hormonal imbalance or/and a dose too high, as said earlier. You can mitigate that with more frequent injections, switching the type of injections you do, check your blood levels to make sure everything is in range. You can also try to lower your dose. But then again you should know where you are before you lower anything. Lowering for the sake of lowering doesn't make much sense.

You specified your basic TRT protocol but not your blood levels. Your body may adjust after a while. For some, it is a few months or about a year, while for others it's a constant battle. Lowering your dose and optimizing frequency tend to be the keys though. Cutting down on fatty foods also helps a lot.

If you've only been on TRT for few months, you should give it time. Your body will get use to it and find way to control it automatically. It could just be hormones balancing out and you should really trying to stay clean as much as you could.

I have heard people recommending Accutane, however, your acne may not require using that. Might be temporary - too soon to tell. If you have little acne from there to here, Accutane may not be the best for you.  You can try everything but not Accutane. Best so far is a tea tree oil wash and retinol formula at night. Some of us are just genetically predisposed to it unfortunately. You can get rid of acne on the shoulders by applying dishwasher soap to it in the shower. It works like magic — just don't put that stuff in your face. Try not taking a hot ass shower, this causes acne on the back.

Use a good moisturizer daily. It sounds odd, but very dry skin makes cystic acne worse. Your pores actually end up making more oil to combat the dryness and just end up getting clogged. Well hydrated skin also doesn't itch, so you won't scratch and spread bacteria and dirt.

Also try 2500mg of B5/pantothenic acid daily (split dosage). B5 shrinks pores just like Accutane, but unfortunately it's effects aren't permanent like Accutane effects are. B5 also doesn't have all the nasty Accutane side effects either. I see a lot of TRT and AAS users just blindly say, "just take some Accutane". What the Bros don't realize is Accutane is a nasty drug. Very nasty.. There's a reason why Dr. do a shit-ton of blood tests while your on a 6 month cycle of the stuff. It can easily fuck up your liver and kidneys faster and worse than the harshest oral steroids can.

For big pimples or serious acne's, you can try 500mg of Niacin daily. It worked reduce the pimples. You may get few from time to time, but they aren't the super painful ones you get without it. However, if the acne's persist, you can stop TRT for some time and continue after it goes down. Splitting the dose up can help too.

The only thing that’s proven to work, for is drinking loads of water, and eating a healthy diet while on TRT.
