Note: This is just my personal opinion base on research and my experience.
Keto diet is not good, it is a FAD diet. You will lose weight, but once you stop the diet you'll gain it back. Plus you are eating copious amounts of fat, it is not good for your heart. You are better off during a low carbs, moderate fat, high protein diet, along with daily cardio and weight lifting. The more muscle you build, the more fat your body will burn off on its own.
How do you know it will work for you? Have you done any research?
Talk to your doctor first. Keto diet can put a lot of strain on your body if you do not eat correctly. And some health conditions may not go over well with the keto diet. Keto diet to me is a way of life not a diet. If you can't make some type of changes, best advise you don't do it especially if you are one that love food so much. There are much better ways of doing it.
Keto is not easy, it takes a lot of research, so make sure you research and choose the style that best suits your lifestyle so that it can be an easy transition.
I would recommend you go other ways to lose weight. Keto diet is not sustainable. Get your protein up and calories down - that's how you lose weight. Keto is not vital but if ketosis is your goal, meat and greens 4 times a day is a try.
